SS Paris Hospital Ship

The hospital ship SS Paris made six trips to Dunkirk. The bulk of her nursing staff was provided by Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service and Reserve. The medallion, shoulder board and badge all relate to this service. The ship was sunk by air attack, on her outward trip to Dunkirk, on the evening of the 2nd June, 1940.
