Sergeant Henry Wilfred James Spice Royal Army Service Corps (RASC)

Part of a very large collection of photographs, certificates and paperwork referring to Sergeant Henry Wilfred James Spice, Royal Army Service Corps (RASC).

Henry Spice was part of the BEF and was evacuated from Dunkirk. It would appear from the timing of the telegram from Tidworth, advising his wife (Betty) that he was safely back in England, that he had been evacuated between the 29th - 31st May, 1940.

Henry Spice survived the war and became an active member of the Brighton & Hove Dunkirk Veterans Association.
