French Destroyer Cyclone

Cyclone – One of the Bourrasque class of destroyers, coming into service in 1928. On the 30th May 1940, on the outward bound journey from Dover to Dunkirk along Route Y, she was torpedoed and badly damaged by the German E-Boat S-24. While she managed to put into Dover for temporary repairs and ultimately return to Brest, she was scuttled there on the 18th June to prevent her capture.
