Engaged by Messerschmitt Bf109s whilst escorting a formation of Fairey Battle light bombers, this aeroplane was shot down by Fw Muller of 3./JG26 and crashed inverted into woods at Sentelie, south of Poix-de Picardie, France at 1.50pm. The pilot, Pilot Officer Richard Hulse was killed and is buried at Sentelie Churchyard.

These relics from the crash site were excavated in August 1996. They are largely smashed beyond recognition and consist of small flattened sections of pipework, small fragments of airframe and engine casing and finally, some shattered plastic and Bakelite pieces. These items were kindly donated to the museum by Jon Harrisson of Leominster.
