Death card of Arthur Henderickx, a Belgian soldier of the 10e Battalion, 2e Kompanie Wachtersgroep. He was 37 years of age when killed at Boulogne on the 22nd May, 1940. He would either have been killed in one of the heavy air raids that preceded the German advance on the town, or in the fighting on the approaches to the town where some Belgian troops were holding key strategic points.
