Propaganda Leaflets

During the so called "phoney war" period the air forces of both sides contented themselves with the dropping of leaflets over civilian areas rather than bombs. The aim of these leaflet raids was to undermine the morale of both soldiers and civilians.

Two of the leaflets are German and were dropped over the Maginot Line in early 1940 targeting French troops.

The third is a British leaflet which was dropped over Germany between 21st March and 22nd April 1940.
