Hospital

Every work of the Maginot Line had some kind of medically-trained crew member. The larger the site, the better the facilities and more highly-trained the staff. Were you stationed in a casemate, you could expect to be treated for only the most superficial wounds.

The infantry works and abris had an actual doctor, although their role was to act mostly as we would expect from a General Practitioner; anything more serious would require the services of an actual hospital or the medical facilities located at a larger fortress. The larger artillery forts had facilities ranging from, at their most basic, a simple hospital where sick troops could be treated prior to a return to duties or transfer off site, through to operating theatres and even dentists.
